Built for the leaks nobody can see
London Leak Specialist exists because of a gap we kept seeing: plumbers who repair what they can see, and homeowners with water damage from pipes nobody could find. We built the company around closing that gap — detection technology in one hand, plumbing tools in the other.
What we do
We find hidden water leaks — under floors, inside walls, buried in screed, underground between the meter and the house — using acoustic listening equipment, thermal imaging cameras, tracer gas and moisture mapping. Then, because our engineers are qualified plumbers, we usually fix what we find on the same visit.
Around that core sit the services a leak drags with it: emergency plumbing when water is actively escaping, burst pipe repairs, trace and access reports for insurance claims, and commercial surveys for managing agents dealing with flat-to-flat disputes.
We cover all 33 London boroughs. Not as a slogan — the borough pages on this site describe how each area's housing stock actually fails, because knowing that before we arrive is part of the job.

How we work
Diagnosis before demolition
Nothing gets opened until the evidence says where. Pressure testing narrows the circuit, thermal and acoustic methods narrow the point, tracer gas confirms it. The crowbar comes last, and it comes down once.
No find, no fee — honestly meant
If we attend a confirmed live leak and cannot locate it, the detection fee is waived. We get paid for answers, not attendance, and that keeps every diagnosis straight.
Plumbers first, detectives second
Detection without repair is half a service. Our engineers are qualified plumbers carrying pipe and fittings, so most leaks found in the morning are fixed by the afternoon.
Paperwork that earns its keep
Escape-of-water claims live or die on evidence. Every visit can produce an insurer-ready report — cause, origin, method, moisture map, photos — typically within 48 hours.
